Tricks in Progress

Hello!

Sorry it took so long to show this. But, as promised, I have images and video of Rascal & Alvin's new tricks. They are still working on them, but they catch on really fast!


Here is a picture of Alvin shaking my hand:

(If you look closely, his front paw closest to the camera is up in my hand. You can tell that his front paw on the other side is on the ground.)

Rascal gets so excited when we put our hands down for a shake that he usually just climbs up our arms. He was the first to shake, but now he's overdoing it a bit. Here's a pic of him:

(He does have both of his front paws in my hand, we're still working on him to only do one)

I am also teaching them to circle, which is a common guinea pig trick. I chose to call it dancing for my Guineas, though. Here are videos of Rascal & Alvin dancing!

My boyfriend, Stephen(the one usually behind the camera), managed to get Rascal to Dance without following the food. Unfortunately, this was off camera. We are also starting to teach Rascal to stand. Rascal is usually the first to take to the tricks. Then, Alvin follows his example.
